The Scoring System
Your results are presented on a 1–200 scale, with 100 representing average musical knowledge. Each section receives its own score, and your overall Music IQ is calculated from your combined performance.
Unlike a fixed IQ score, this number is not set in stone. Nearly every aspect of this test reflects a skill that can be developed — ear training, theory, history, and production knowledge all grow with study and practice. This score tells you where you are today. Where you go from here is entirely up to you.
The quiz takes approximately 45–60 minutes. Audio headphones are strongly recommended for the best experience.
